Improving Education Through Service

Engaging with the local and global community is central to advancing Delta’s mission of bridging gaps within education. Delta members consistently dedicate themselves to various volunteering and outreach opportunities, ranging from our annual college admissions workshop, read-ins across underserved Bay Area elementary schools, and professional development workshops for students at Berkeley, as well.
Our Events

College Admissions Workshop
At Delta, we recognize the importance of access to education, making the annual college admissions workshop an invaluable experience for both our members and the students we support. Each student is matched with a Delta member who provides them with thoughtful, personalized guidance as they navigate this journey.

Local Read-Ins
During heritage months, such as AAPI Heritage Months, Delta members visit local elementary schools and participate in Read-Ins, where we share stories that celebrate diverse cultures and experiences. Not only do our members connect with students of our local community, but the students also have the opportunity to engage in new perspectives.

Technical Workshops
With diverse skills across technology and business, our members with industry experience are dedicated to giving back to our own Berkeley community, hosting a series of professional development workshops throughout the school year, focused on LeetCode sessions and interview preparation, open to all.

Speaker Panels
Delta’s speaker panels bring together professionals across consulting, tech, and education to share candid insights, bust common myths about the workforce, and remove the stigma around post-grad life. These events, often co-hosted with other Berkeley consulting clubs, feature Cal alumni from leading firms like Google, McKinsey, and Salesforce, offering members the chance to ask thoughtful questions and explore a wide range of career paths.
