About
We're UC Berkeley's premier student-run consulting organization for education and technology.
— Who we are —
A Community of Impact

Delta Consulting was founded on a passion for education and an understanding that our current educational systems lack the capacity to bridge technical coursework and skills with educational passion.
Further, we aim to bring awareness to issues in the education sector and cater our focus on consulting for companies and organizations that have the potential to bridge these gaps we see in education today.
Our Core Values

Redefining education beyond the classroom
We believe education happens everywhere — not just in lectures, but in platforms, systems, tools, and choices. Delta brings together business acumen, technical skill, and research thinking to transform how people learn, plan, and grow. With every project, we create space for our members to explore what education can mean without ever stepping behind a podium.

Bound by purpose, built on belonging
Our members form lasting connections not merely through collaboration, but through a shared commitment to transforming education. Through various traditions like delta dates, big/little pairings, retreats, alumni nights, etc. we foster and maintain a close-knit culture that enhances the quality of our work, strengthens mentorship, and ensures that each individual is seen, valued, and invested in. The relationships formed within Delta extend well beyond individual projects, creating a lifelong network driven by collective impact.

Serving communities, not just clients
Impact starts local. Through college essay workshops, read-ins at local schools, and book drives, Delta is committed to making education more inclusive and attainable. We take what we learn from national projects and bring it home — offering our time, skills, and platforms to the students who need them most.
The Member Experience

Project Experience
Each semester, members are placed on a new education-focused consulting project, giving them continuous exposure to various clients and project scopes. As they grow, members can take on Project Manager roles where they lead a team of analysts, strengthen leadership skills, and even source clients of their choice, a rare opportunity in student consulting.

Professional Development Curriculum
Every new analyst goes through a structured curriculum that builds core consulting and career skills, including resume writing, interview prep, public speaking, and client-facing communication. Analysts also gain technical exposure through workshops in survey design, UI/UX with Figma, and basic tech tools used across projects.

Haas Mentorship
Members interested in applying to Haas have the opportunity to be paired with a current Haas student in Delta for one-on-one mentorship on everything from resume feedback to application essays. This partnership helps members navigate career decisions with more clarity and confidence, supported by someone who has been through the process themselves.
